Ascend Level & Purchase Terms

THESE PURCHASE TERMS GOVERN YOUR TRIAL EVALUATION AND PURCHASES OF THE ASCEND LEVEL TIER AND IN-APP CONTENT WITHIN 9 TO ZEN. BY INITIATING A FREE TRIAL OR MAKING A PURCHASE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR TERMS OF SERVICE & EULA.

1. Overview of Ascend Level

Ascend Level represents the premium tier within the 9 to Zen application, unlocking advanced puzzle modes, extended analytics, aesthetic customizations, and an ad-free experience. Access to Ascend Level may be granted via temporary Free Trial periods or through explicit digital purchases.

2. Free Trial & Non-Converting Model

2.1 Free Trial Evaluation Period

Alchemical Solutions may grant users a limited-time Free Trial to evaluate Ascend Level features without upfront payment.

No Credit Card Required: You are not required to provide a payment method or billing details to begin a Free Trial.
Duration & Scope: Specific trial terms (such as length and features included) will be displayed prior to activating the Free Trial in the app.

2.2 Expiration & "Prompt to Buy"

Zero Auto-Renewal: Free Trials do not automatically convert into paid subscriptions or non-refundable charges. You will never be billed automatically upon trial expiration.
Transition to Base Tier: When your trial period expires, your account will pause premium access and revert to the free base tier of 9 to Zen.
In-App Purchase Prompt: Upon expiration, you will receive an in-app purchase prompt ("Prompt to Buy") giving you the choice to purchase full Ascend Level access. Access is restored immediately upon completing a successful payment transaction.

2.3 Progress Retention

Your game progress, achievements, and custom configurations earned during an Ascend Level Free Trial will be preserved for ninety (90) days following trial expiration, allowing you to resume seamlessly if you choose to purchase later.

3. Billing and Platform Payment Processing

3.1 Authorized Marketplaces

All purchases for 9 to Zen and Ascend Level access are processed securely through authorized app marketplaces (including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store). Alchemical Solutions does not collect, store, or process raw credit card numbers or banking information on its servers.

3.2 Payment Authorization

When you complete a transaction via an in-app prompt, you authorize the applicable marketplace to charge your designated payment account for the amount specified (including any applicable local taxes).

4. Pricing and Pricing Changes

Prices for Ascend Level access are clearly displayed prior to purchase within the app storefront. Alchemical Solutions reserves the right to adjust pricing, introduce promotional rates, or modify included features at any time. Any price changes will apply only to future purchases and will not affect previously completed non-recurring transactions.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Final Sales

Because every user is provided with a Free Trial opportunity to evaluate Ascend Level before purchasing, all completed post-trial purchases are final and non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

5.2 App Store Platform Policy Exceptions

Refund requests for transactions completed via third-party digital stores must be submitted directly to the respective platform operator (e.g., Apple or Google) and are governed by their respective purchase and refund policies.

6. License Term and Account Termination

Purchasing Ascend Level grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access premium features in accordance with our Terms of Service & EULA. Alchemical Solutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Ascend Level features in cases of software abuse, terms violation, or fraudulent transaction activity.

2. 7-DAY FREE TRIAL & AUTOMATIC CONVERSION DISCLOSURE

2.1 Trial Activation & Delayed Billing

We may offer an optional 7-Day Free Trial to allow players to preview Ascend Level features.

2.2 Mandatory Automatic Conversion Notice

The Conversion: By opting into and tapping to initiate the 7-Day Free Trial, you grant your explicit authorization to Alchemical Solutions LLC to automatically charge your linked Apple ID or Google Play account a single, one-time fee of $9.99 USD (plus applicable localized taxes) upon the conclusion of the trial period on Day 8.

3.1 Streak Protection Shields Ownership & Refresh Clock

Upon a successful direct purchase or a successful trial conversion on Day 8, your premium status is established under the following architecture:

3.2 Cloud Server Connectivity & Cross-Platform Sync

To safely maintain your purchase data across multiple iOS and Android devices, you must leverage our "Cloud Sync" feature to establish an anonymous "Zen Profile".

3.3 Life-of-the-Game Sunset Clause

CRITICAL DISCLOSURE: You explicitly recognize and agree that "lifetime," "permanent," or "unrestricted" access to Ascend features refers exclusively to the active operational lifespan of the 9 to Zen™ mobile application. If Alchemical Solutions LLC decides, in its sole and absolute discretion, to discontinue, pull down, or sunset 9 to Zen™ or its cloud-sync servers in the future, your Ascend tier benefits will instantly terminate.

3.4 Platform Refund Governance

All payment processing, billing disputes, and refund requests are handled directly and exclusively by Apple Inc. or Google LLC, depending on your device platform. Alchemical Solutions LLC does not possess the operational ability to reverse transactions, view credit card profiles, or issue direct cash refunds. Any request for a refund following a conversion or purchase must be submitted through the standard customer support channels of the respective app marketplace.
