Community & Leaderboard Rules
To maintain a competitive, fair, and tranquil environment that protects your gameplay flow, Alchemical Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") enforces strict guidelines regarding player conduct, competitive integrity, and user-generated text within 9 to Zen™.
By utilizing our "Cloud Sync" feature, establishing a Zen Profile, and participating in global or regional leaderboards, you explicitly agree to abide by the rules detailed below.
1. USER-GENERATED TEXT & LEADERBOARD NAMES
1.1 Content Standards
When customizing your public Zen Profile name for leaderboard display, you are strictly prohibited from using any text, symbols, or combinations of characters that contain, promote, or depict:
- Profanity, vulgarity, or sexually explicit language.
- Hate speech, discriminatory language, or slurs targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted defamation of other players or third parties.
- Unauthorized trademarks, copyrighted names, or corporate brand assets that you do not own.
- Impersonation of Alchemical Solutions LLC staff, developers, or platform administrators.
1.2 Automated Tracking & Algorithmic Moderation
To enforce these standards at scale, Alchemical Solutions LLC utilizes automated text screening algorithms and automated moderation tools during the profile naming process.
Unilateral Enforcement: We reserve the absolute, unilateral right to filter, reject, or modify any user-submitted profile name proactively. If our systems flag your chosen name as an infraction of our community standards, your public leaderboard identifier will be instantly and automatically reverted to "Anonymous Seeker" or a randomized generic placeholder, without prior notice or right of appeal.
2. COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY & FAIR PLAY
2.1 Prohibited Exploits and Cheating
The integrity of the 9 to Zen™ puzzle matrix, daily streak counts, and leaderboards is paramount. Any attempt to artificially manipulate game data or cloud scores is strictly forbidden. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing third-party software, memory editors, automated bots, macros, or hacks to alter score inputs or solve puzzle boards automatically.
- Modifying, manipulating, or reverse-engineering app code or server data packets transmitted via Microsoft PlayFab.
- Exploiting software bugs, glitches, or data duplication vulnerabilities to artificially inflate your "Trove tile count," milestone multipliers, or daily streak loops.
- Engaging in "time-traveling" exploits (intentionally altering your mobile device’s system clock or time-zone arrays to artificially bypass the rolling 30-day server clock or speed up daily matrix loops).
2.2 Server-Side Verification
To maintain a level playing field, system modifiers, milestone multipliers, and active streak data require a secure, live connection to our cloud server (via Microsoft PlayFab) during startup initialization. Alchemical Solutions LLC uses server-side data telemetry to analyze score velocity and validate the legitimacy of high-score submissions.
3. PENALTIES, SUSPENSIONS, & "LIFE OF THE GAME" DISCLAIMER
3.1 Unilateral Discretion & Account Penalties
If Alchemical Solutions LLC or its automated monitoring systems determine that a player has violated these Community and Leaderboard Rules, we reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to enforce any of the following penalties without liability:
- Leaderboard Scrubbing: Immediate removal of your high scores and permanent exclusion of your Zen Profile from all public leaderboard displays.
- Streak Forfeiture: Instant reset and wiping of active daily streaks, milestone multipliers, and accrued fractions or whole numbers of "magic 9 tiles."
- Profile Suspension: Temporary or permanent termination of your Zen Profile cloud-sync data, effectively severing your ability to sync progress across multiple devices.
- Device Banning: Restricting your unique hardware tracking identifiers from establishing a secure connection to our Microsoft PlayFab backend servers.
3.2 Virtual Economy Zero-Value Shield
All virtual items, streak protection shields, tile counts, and leaderboard rankings within 9 to Zen™ constitute a limited, revocable, non-transferable license and possess no real-world monetary value. If your profile is penalized, wiped, or banned for competitive infractions, you explicitly acknowledge that you have not lost private property or assets. Alchemical Solutions LLC owes no financial compensation, replacement value, or platform tier refunds ($9.99 USD) to players who forfeit their premium privileges through rule violations.
3.3 Life-of-the-Game Sunset Provision
Sunset Disclaimer: All leaderboard competitions, ranking structures, community events, and historical score databases are maintained solely for the active operational lifespan of 9 to Zen™. If Alchemical Solutions LLC decides to sunset, discontinue, or take down the game application in the future, all ranking tables and user records will be permanently deleted without company liability or operational survival.
4. AMENDMENTS & UNILATERAL CHANGES
Alchemical Solutions LLC reserves the right to modify, evolve, or add rules to this document at any time to combat new cheating methodologies or adapt to updated mobile ecosystem requirements. Changes will take effect immediately upon updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued participation in competitive leaderboards following an update constitutes your binding agreement to the revised rules.
